Freaky Font Generator
"Freaky" text layers extra Unicode combining marks onto your letters, the same technique behind "zalgo" text. The more marks stacked on, the more distorted and unsettling it reads.
Creepy (Glitch) is the middle-intensity option most people mean by "freaky"; Cursed Upside Down and Glitch Slash combine that distortion with a second effect for something even stranger.

How It Works

1.Pick a style. Type or paste your text into the box above, then browse the style list. Every style updates instantly as you type.

2.Copy your text. Found one you like? Tap Copy on that style's row, or tap the ★ next to it to save it to your Favorites for next time.

3.Paste anywhere. Paste the result into an Instagram bio, TikTok caption, Discord name, or anywhere else — it's plain text, so it works everywhere.

How combining marks create the freaky/zalgo look
Unicode reserves a range of 'combining' characters that stack on top of, above, or below the letter before them rather than taking up their own space — accent marks are the everyday example. Zalgo-style text pushes this to an extreme, layering dozens of combining marks onto a single letter until it reads as glitched or corrupted. This generator lets you control the intensity, from a light dusting of marks to the fully chaotic Wild setting.
Picking an intensity level
Zalgo Medium gives a noticeably freaky look while staying readable. Cursed Upside Down and Glitch Slash layer a second effect (flipped letters or a strikethrough) on top for something stranger. Zalgo Wild pushes the mark count to the maximum for the most extreme, hardest-to-read result.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will freaky text look the same every time I generate it?
+
Yes for the same input — the extra marks are generated from your text itself, so a given word always comes out the same way rather than changing randomly on every copy.
Is freaky text safe to use in a username?
+
It's plain Unicode text so it'll paste fine, but heavy combining-mark styles can be hard to read at small sizes or get flagged by some platforms' spam filters — better suited to a one-off post or comment than a permanent username.
What's the difference between freaky and creepy text on this site?
+
Same underlying combining-mark technique — the creepy font generator page leans into a horror framing with the Drip style added, while this page covers the general glitchy/freaky range.
Can I control exactly how distorted the text looks?
+
Yes, Zalgo Medium and Zalgo Wild give two clear intensity levels, so you can pick a lighter or more extreme version depending on how readable you need the result to stay.
